If a user encounters content in their account, profile, or events that may be related to account hacking, we recommend the following:

Once the user has been able to log in, please review their content, profiles, events, messages, friends, reviews, references, and more. If you find that an activity has occurred that you cannot change yourself, please let us know.

Unsolicited content

The user is asked to report any unsolicited content to us.

Opt-out

It is important for the user to control the data collection related to him/her. We are collecting data by these cookies. Our system contains cookies that can and cannot be set by users. When the user first arrives to our system, we ask the user to choose from these settings. MusicMonarchy uses Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize our service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.). Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behaviour and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.

I have enabled the Do-Not-Track setting in my browser. Will this stop Hotjar processing data about me?

Yes. Hotjar respects the Do-Not-Track (DNT) headers in browsers. As a website user browsing websites that have Hotjar installed, you are able to use the Do Not Track setting in your browser to avoid Hotjar tracking any data about your visit.
