User information

We provide user account information in accordance with our Terms of Use, applicable law, and paragraphs of the SCA (Stored Communications Act, 18 U.S.C. 2701-2712).

  • In connection with criminal records
    • Related paragraph: 18 U.S.C. 2703 (c) (2)
    • Available data: account and profile name, service duration, credit card information, credit card information, email address, login IP addresses
  • In connection with a court order
    • Related paragraph: 18 U.S.C. 2703 (d)
    • Data to be provided:
      • account and profile name, duration of service, credit card information, credit card information, email address, login IP addresses
      • Message headers, IP addresses
  • In case of serious suspicion,
    • a search warrant issued by federal criminal procedure rules or equivalent state-level regulation is required
    • Available data: data or content related to any account, profile or event

Availability and storage of data

After deleting any account, profile or event, the content will be retained until the review expires. In addition, we retain this content only if there is a legally substantiated demand from law enforcement.

This need must specify that

  • which account, profile, or content associated with the event
  • which time or interval it applies to (an important factor as names can be changed by users)
  • the name, telephone number and e-mail address of the given authority and / or representative
  • explaining the context of the investigation

Child protection administration

If the request is related to the exploitation or safety of children, please attach the NCMEC report ID to the request and describe the circumstances.

User-related law enforcement license

If the user has authorized a law enforcement representative to access data or content related to the account, profile, or event, the user may request that we download the related data.

Reimbursement of related costs

In connection with data requests, we may request reimbursement of our costs provided by law, which may incur additional costs in the case of an unusual or heavy-duty service. In cases involving children, users and potential harm to us, whether emergency or not, we may waive these charges.
