YouTube profile synchronization

Every user with existing professional profile can connect their relevant YouTube profile with their MusicMonarchy's profile. Process is simple, safe and quick.
After the site connection all public videos on the connected YouTube profile will be displayed on MusicMonarchy's profile as well. Functions that are related to posts on MusicMonarchy are limited, you need to navigate to YouTube in order to reach and use them.
By connecting your YouTube profile with MusicMonarchy, we save time and energy for you, also your followers and friends can hear about your videos through your MusicMonarchy's profile as well.

Data, Data storage

  • During the connection process you need to login to your YouTube account and chose your profile or page.
  • After you have connected your YouTube profile with MusicMonarchy, your below data stored on YouTube we will not be used, stored, amended or passed to third person.
    • For example:
      • Profile data
      • Login data
      • Analytical / statistical data
      • Payment info
      • Or any other data collected by YouTube or their companies with your approval
    • Only data that are related to videos will be shown, like:
      • Videos' index image
      • Videos' name

Connection

Your YouTube profile's connection with MusicMonarchy

  • Connection can be done anytime
  • If the connection failed or you receive any error messages, please contact us
    • During your report please do not share any login data with us

  • Connect only with your own account or with an account whose owner gave you permission to connect on behalf of him / her
  • Create connection
    • Navigate to your profile Photos and Videos
      • Click on Connect your YouTube profile section and chose Connect YouTube
      • Following authentication steps are provided by Google's system
        • Choose your required user or login with your username which you want to create active connection with
        • It may happen that you need to login to your required user
          • During the authentication process we do not store any personal data
        • In the next step you can check permissions
          • In order to have access to your profile videos you need to set option: "See, edit and permanently delete your YouTube videos, ratings, comments and captions"
        • After you looked over and agreed on the terms, please click on Application allowed button and then you will be redirected to your MusicMonarchy profile
    • Or you can do these settings on Profile Settings Social channel synchronization
    • During connection you agree and accept that we automatically renew the token till your disconnection. This does not mean any obligation on you. It is needed so that you should not create your settings each and every time. It helps that we could provide the most effective user experience for you with as little effort as possible.
      • With the help of token, we do not need to store any data about you. It helps YouTube to check if the connection has been setup between profiles

  • On MusicMonarchy page navigate to Profile Settings Social channel synchronization News YouTube settings, where you can view the name of the connected YouTube profile
  • On YouTube profile navigate Your account Settings Account Google Account View or change of Google account settings You will be redirected to your Google account page Security Third-party sites and apps
    • If you cannot find MusicMonarchy in the list, click on Manage access of third-party
    • Here click on MusicMonarchy

      • Only your public videos will be displayed
      • Age limit (changes by countries) video's index picture is appeared, but to view these videos you will be directed to YouTube
        • In order to view these videos you need to meet age limit requirements
      • YouTube logo
        • Direct link to YouTube profile
    • Data belong to videos
      • Video name
      • Video index picture
        • Standard player provided by YouTube with basic functions
          • In order to view the comments or make comments navigate to YouTube through the links on player
    • We do not display to YouTube videos
      • Comments
      • Number of views
      • Like / Dislike ratings
      • Publishing time
      • Hashtags
    • Not possible at YouTube videos
      • Add rating
      • Create comments
      • Sharing
      • Report video
      • Subscribe
      • In order to have access to these functions, please navigate on YouTube that is easy to do if you clink on the title of the running video
  • Public videos that are created on you connected YouTube profile will automatically appear on the relevant MusicMonarchy surface (Profile page Photos and Videos YouTube)
  • In what cases the connected YouTube posts cannot be displayed on MusicMonarchy?
    • YouTube account
      • Cancelled
      • Became suspended
      • Content revoked
      • Etc.
    • In this case, please visit YouTube and / or check your email account.
    • If all is OK with your post there, please let us know as you might have found an error that must be corrected by us as soon as possible

Detachment or modification

Detachment or modification of your connected YouTube profile

  • Detachment has no effect on your content on MusicMonarchy or on YouTube
  • Detachment on MusicMonarchy
    • Navigate to Your profile Settings Edit Social channel synchronization
    • In Videos menu item choose YouTube profile connection and click on Detachment
  • Detachment on YouTube
    • On YouTube profile navigate Your account Settings Account Google Account View or change of Google account settings You will be redirected to your Google account page Security Third-party sites and apps
      • If you cannot find MusicMonarchy in the list, click on Manage access of third-party
      • Here click on MusicMonarchy and then on Remove access button
    • In order to modify the current connection, you need to remove at first the actual connection on both sides and then on MusicMonarchy site you need to initiate the setup of new connection

Teaser requester

Sending teaser requester

  • MusicMonarchy users can indicate to another profile owner if they wish to view their posts of their YouTube profile on MusicMonarchy site.
  • Sending teaser requester
    • Not your own profile page Photos and Videos YouTube
    • Click on teaser requester button
  • User will receive notification about these teaser requesters
  • It does not mean that profile owner will connect the two channels

Obligations

MusicMonarchy's obligations

  • We will do our best to ensure:
    • Your YouTube connection be safe
    • Your public videos be appeared on the right form and on the right channel
  • We make no commitment if:
    • Your connected channels' videos do not appear on MusicMonarchy
      • Possible network pause
      • Software error (either on YouTube, or on MusicMonarchy)
      • YouTube account has been disabled, cancelled, or broken
      • MusicMonarchy profile, account has been disabled
      • Etc..
    • In case you find any error, please inform us
