Spotify profile synchronization

Every user with existing professional profile can connect their relevant Spotify artist profile with their MusicMonarchy's profile. Process is simple, safe and quick.
After the site connection all public top 10 songs on the connected Spotify/artist profile will be displayed on MusicMonarchy's profile as well. Functions that are related to Spotify songs on MusicMonarchy are limited, you need to navigate to Spotify in order to reach and use them.
By connecting your Spotify profile with MusicMonarchy, we save time and energy for you, also your followers and fans can hear about your songs / albums through your MusicMonarchy's profile as well.

Data, data storage

  • During the connection process you need to login to your Spotify account and add your artist ID
  • After you have connected your Spotify profile with MusicMonarchy, your below data stored on Spotify we will not be used, stored, amended or passed to third person.
    • For example:
      • Profile data
      • Login data
      • Analytical / statistical data
      • Payment info
      • Or any other data collected by Spotify or their companies with your approval
    • Only data that are related to songs and albums will be shown, like:
      • Album's
        • Cover image
        • Title
        • Date of creation
      • Song's
        • Title
        • Serial number
        • Length

Connection

Your Spotify profile's connection with MusicMonarchy

  • Connection can be done anytime
  • If the connection failed or you receive any error messages, please contact us
    • During your report please do not share any login data with us

  • Connect only with your own artist account or with an account whose owner gave you permission to connect on behalf of him / her
  • Create connection
    • Navigate to your profile Songs / Albums
      • Click on Connect your Spotify profile section and chose Connect Spotify Artist
      • Following authentication steps are provided by Spotify's system
        • Choose your required user or login with your username which you want to create active connection with
        • It may happen that you need to login to your required user
          • During the authentication process we do not store any personal data
        • In the next step you can check permissions
        • After you looked over and agreed on the terms, please click on Application allowed button and then you will be redirected to your MusicMonarchy profile
    • On MusicMonarchy's Profile Songs / Albums Spotify section add your artist ID that you wish to connect
      • Artist ID can be found on your Spotify profile
        • In Url field after 'spotify.com/artist/' a code consists of digits and letters (e.g. Queen: open.spotify.com/artist/1dfeR4HaWDbWqFHLkxsg1d and artist ID is: 1dfeR4HaWDbWqFHLkxsg1d)
    • Or you can do these settings on Profile Settings Social channel synchronization
    • During connection you agree and accept that we automatically renew the token till your disconnection. This does not mean any obligation on you. It is needed so that you should not create your settings each and every time. It helps that we could provide the most effective user experience for you with as little effort as possible.
      • With the help of token we do not need to store any data about you. It helps Spotify to check if the connection has been setup between profiles

  • On MusicMonarchy page navigate to Profile Settings Social channel synchronization Songs and Albums Spotify settings, where you can view the name of the connected Spotify profile
  • On Spotify profile navigate Your account Applications

  • Spotify contents on MusicMonarchy surface
    • Display
      • Profile Songs and Albums Spotify
      • Songs: top 10 songs are displayed here
      • Albums: your albums and connected songs are displayed here
      • Only your public songs and albums will be displayed
      • Songs with limited access (by age or by countries) will not be displayed
    • Data belong to songs and albums
      • Songs (top 10 track)
        • Album cover and direct link to the album
        • Song's title and direct link to the song
        • Album title belongs to song and direct link to the album
      • Albums
        • Album cover and direct link to the album
        • Album's publishing date
        • Song's title and direct link to the song
        • Song's length and serial number
    • Not possible at Spotify songs and albums
      • Playback
      • Follow settings of related artist
      • View of Spotify offers
      • Sharing
      • Reporting
      • In order to have access to these functions, please navigate on Spotify that is easy to do if you clink on the song or album
  • Public songs and albums that are created on your connected Spotify artist profile will automatically appear on the relevant MusicMonarchy surface (Profile page Songs and Albums Spotify / relevant content menu item)
  • In what cases the connected Spotify contents cannot be displayed on MusicMonarchy?
    • Spotify account / artist profile
      • Cancelled
      • Became suspended
      • Content revoked
      • Etc.
    • In this case please visit Spotify and / or check your email account.
    • If all is OK with your post there, please let us know as you might have found an error that must be corrected by us as soon as possible

Detachment or modification

Detachment or modification of your connected Spotify profile

  • Detachment has no effect on your content on MusicMonarchy or on Spotify
  • Detachment on MusicMonarchy
    • Navigate to Your profile Settings Edit Social channel synchronization
    • In Songs / Albums menu item choose Spotify connection and click on Detachment
  • Detachment on Spotify
    • On Spotify profile navigate Your account Applications
    • Here click on MusicMonarchy and then on Disconnect button
    • In order to modify the current connection you need to remove at first the actual connection on both sides and then on MusicMonarchy site you need to initiate the setup of new connection

Teaser requester

Sending teaser requester

  • MusicMonarchy users can indicate to another profile owner if they wish to view their artist songs and albums of their Spotify profile on MusicMonarchy site.
  • Sending teaser requester
    • Not your own profile page Songs and Albums Spotify
    • Click on teaser requester button
  • User will receive notification about these teaser requesters
  • It does not mean that profile owner will connect the two channels

Obligations

MusicMonarchy's obligations

  • We will do our best to ensure:
    • Your Spotify connection be safe
    • Your public songs and albums be appeared on the right form
  • We make no commitment if:
    • Your connected profile's artist songs and albums do not appear on MusicMonarchy
      • Possible network pause
      • Software error (either on Spotify, or on MusicMonarchy)
      • Spotify account or artist profile has been disabled, cancelled or broken
      • MusicMonarchy profile, account has been disabled
      • Etc..
    • In case you find any error, please inform us
